To all of the soldiers and veterans who have so courageously defended our country, we would like to send a heartfelt “Thank you!” This Memorial Day is a particularly important time to show our gratitude to our past, present and future military heroes. While we all work to protect our country in small ways, like maintaining social distancing, wearing masks and washing our hands, our veterans and active duty military personnel have risked their lives to insure that we are free. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
We’ve come up with some fun ways to celebrate this special weekend. Raise your flag, send a letter to someone stationed overseas, or make a donation to a charity that supports veterans, such as the Wounded Warrior Project. Let’s remember the ways we can bring our country together, so that we move forward stronger, safer and more united.
Tune into National Memorial Day Concert on PBS at 8pm EST on PBS. While the live concert was cancelled, the music lives on! Celebrities will honor military personnel who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, as well as veterans who have bravely served our country in many ways.

Post on social media to honor a veteran or current military hero! If you’re like us and are trying to find ways to get off your devices, grab some chalk and decorate your driveway or sidewalk with messages like, “Support our troops” and “Thank you for your service!”
Eat, Drink and Be Merry! In lieu of backyard BBQ’s and big social gatherings, grab your loved ones that you live with and create some festive treats. For those that you can’t be with in person, start a facetime chat or create a zoom and share love from a distance. Here are some of our favorite red, white and blue creations:
